Service Engineer

Qualification

Preference ? Diploma in Electronics & Communications/Electronics or BE in Electronics & Communication/Electronics. Fresh graduates OR 1-2 years experience. Candidates should possess sound knowledge of basic Electronics; Op-Amp Circuits, Digital circuits and should be willing to travel all over India.

Job Profile

To provide assistance to customers in routine Operation of the equipment, Clarifications regarding connection details, Repair & calibration, prepare service estimates, service bill collection. Extensive training will be provided at our factory in Bangalore on component level servicing, Trouble shooting techniques, calibration procedures, replacement of PCB/s modules, provide Installation & Operator training services for some of our products (which is mandatory) ensuring proper operation of the test set, routine maintenance procedures, etc Regular refreshers training programs are also conducted at our factory in Bangalore. The selected candidates will be on probation/training at our factory in Bangalore for 6 months. If found suitable, they will then be confirmed & posted at the chosen out-station location. The posting for outstation locations is for a minimum period of 3 years. Eltel will provide accommodation at these locations free of charge. Our Service Centres include well furnished living accommodation with Tel/fax facilities etc. An out-station allowance will also be paid to them. The candidates will also have to travel from these locations to nearby places to attend to services cases as & when the need arises during which time boarding/lodging expenses will be reimbursed. Selection process includes a multiple-choice technical Q/A written test, technical / personal interviews.
